Everything You Need To Know About Samsung’s 110-inch MicroLED TV

The South Korean tech giant Samsung is known for innovations and they thrive to take the home entertainment to another level altogether. The latest addition to their MicroLED TV collection is a 110-inch TV. In the past few years, Samsung pioneered in the production of TVs utilizing MicroLED technology. The Wall which is a 146-inch TV launched at CES 2018 and the 219 inch and 75-inch displays launched at CES 2019 are examples to prove Samsung’s contribution to the industry. Though these displays launched in previous two years require installation the latest one could be assembled quickly and is easy to install like a common television.

Samsung says that they used advanced surface mount technology for LED chips and speaking about the production process they told that it is derived from their semiconductor business. Moreover, they added that they have secured solutions for the production of smaller Micro LED TVs.

Here is great news for everyone seeking a better TV experience at home. Samsung revealed that they are planning to start the production of Micro LED TVs ranging from the size of 70 inches to 100 inches.

For the 110-inch MicroLED TV, Samsung has used 8 million RGB LED chips in a 3.3-square-meter area ensuring the 4K resolution quality and it comes with a micro AI processor equipped within. The LED lights will last for a lifetime of approximately 10 years. You can watch the content on 4 split screens each of 55 inches in size thanks to the Multi View feature in this. The TV comes with 5.1 surround sound capability.

There are rumours that the preorders for this exciting luxury television will begin at the end of this month at a price of $156,400 in Korea. It will be officially launched to the market during the first 4 months of 2021. The target market audience of Samsung includes the high-class of the United States of America, the Middle  East and a few of the European countries.

“Samsung aims to create and lead this Micro LED TV market,” said Chu Jong-suk, an executive vice president of Samsung’s visual display business at an online event. “We believe we could achieve a meaningful number of sales for the product.”

Chu Jong-suk who is an executive vice president of Samsung’s visual display business quoted that Creating and leading the Micro LED TV market is among Samsung’s goals. Also, he said that they expect a considerable number of sales from their latest 110 inch Micro LED TV which they are going to launch to the market soon.
